– Duze

When you can hardly understand the wordings of a song yet it appeals to you, then something was definitely done right, this song is an example of such. The South African based group, Uhuru, sure know how to play around with musical notes to produce a scintillating sound and also deliver it with a good voice. Bringing Wizkid into the fray wasn’t at all a bad idea owing to the fact that he is one of the most popular artiste in the country. Despite the fact that u tend to hear his lines and progression on the track sounding like his old hits, u still get the feeling that he’s an undisputable talent and hardly can you get enough of him
The song will definitely get lots of airplay but because of language barrier it will likely not stand the test of time

Rap heads will always listen with curiosity jams done by these above named artistes, not to discredit or undermine their rap quality but to be immersed in the song. “Summer Time” didn’t disappoint. The tempo of the song was well arranged; loose coming in first accompanied by Ice and then Mi ended it with a fatal uppercut. The chorus wasn’t so catchy though but its delivery was jagalicios (Yeah Jega the INEC boss)
It’s a song rap heads would nod to but on the general, people other than rap fans would just have it on their playlist because of the artists behind it
