Wizkid’s “Soco” Is An Overhyped Average Song But “Nowo” Issa Banger

Published

on

Returning from the success of Manya and Malo currently still locking down the clubs and radio stations. The new “goat-pet” owner Wizkid dropped the new track Soco under record label Stayboy featuring newly signed acts, Ceeza Milli, Spotless & Terri.

While Soco bring little or no new vibes to the table, before the release of the song, there were daily and hourly posts from Wizkid boasting of how much of a “HIT” the song is going to be and it soon gained a lot of social media buzz (of course) from Wizkid’s die-hard fans

Fast forward to the release of the track, Soco falls completely short of the hype and anticipation. It’s understandable that Wizkid was testing the waters hence featuring relatively new artistes but hey.. we’re basing our criticism on the false claim that this was going to be a HIT song.

On the other-hand the DJ Spinall x Wizkid collaboration Nowo with little or no hype is a monster hit, so infectious that it’s been on repeat for weeks now and still counting.

Soco vs Nowo, which song would you consider a banger ?
