US Comedian Kevin Hart offers to buy artwork by a young Nigerian Artiste

American comedian and actor Kevin Hart has reached out to a young Nigerian artist who drew a portrait of him.

The artist, Eli WadubaYusuf who lives in Kaduna, made a hyperrealistic pencil portrait of the comedian. He posted a photo of himself and the art work on twitter and asked for retweets until Kevin sees it.

Kevin eventually saw the tweet 2 days later and offered to purchase the portrait. He also  offers Eli a job to make more drawings of three of his celebrity friends he would like to gift them to.

World news giant CNN also spotted the story as it made waves and reached out to the artist who said he never expected it to happen this fast.

From one act of generosity to global recognition, this would definitely inspire a lot of people with talent even in the most remote places. Yusuf is one of many out there but he learned to use social media as a tool to achieve something meaningful.

This is the kind of story we are proud to report here; where a novice becomes a star, and also, where the bridge to stardom is laid by an established star as in this case.
