Agege Video lands Tekno in Federal Government Trouble. TO BE MADE A SCAPEGOAT

The shooting of #Agege, Tekno new release has landed him in the wrong books of the federal government, and under their radar.

We had reported on August 2, how Augustine Kelechi popularly known as Tekno had created uproar on the social media with the shooting of a video on the Lekki- Epe toll gate with video female vixens in bra and pants only, dancing as he spray them with money among other things, the the video which was later release as #Agege video.

The National Council for Art and Culture (NCAC) as been reported to be ready to sanction the Nigerian artist by making him “A Scapegoat” to teach others a lesson. While responding to the controversial video.

Mr Olusegun Runsewe, the NCAC director general has declared that:

“No single person is bigger than Nigeria and to send a strong signal thats this government does not tolerate nonsense and imorality, but discipline. Which is our moral principle.”

Furthermore, the media aide to the DG, Mr Frank Meke also in a statement describe the video as offensive and disgusting.

The DG continued in his statement that:

Security agencies would be directed to place him (Tekno) under watch-list

Adding that his conduct is a treat to national security. And that,

“Nigeria government will henceforth fish-out such clubs for nude dancers across the country for promoters to face prosecution”

He concluded that section 13(a) of the criminal law of Lagos state (2015) stipulated that:

“An incident act in public place made parties engaging in the act liable to imprisonment for two years.”

While section 136, however, states that:

“Any person who committed any act of gross indecency with another person in public, committed an offence and liable to upon conviction to three years in imprisonment”

Lastly, the Lagos state signage and Advertising Agencies had since suspended the advertising agencies which owns the display truck used in shooting the video till all investigation are concluded.

So what is the way forward for the Alhaji Tekno as he refers to himself?
