Burna Boy African Giant

Burna Boy’s multifaceted  and unique talent cannot be over emphasized. His ferocious delivery, addictive vibe and message filled songs that constantly reveal day-to-day activities, motivating and educating the populace must be applauded. His narrative way of performing songs has established him as the greatest afro beat preacher since the passing on of Africa’s legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Wizkid

Am pretty much aware that announcing Burna boy as the greatest afro beat artist after Fela ahead of Wizkid and Davido could stir up a strong argument but scrutinizing the works of this trio, one would have no cause not to celebrate the unique talent Burna Boy possesses.

A quick look at his personality, Burna Boy has made great impacts to the growth of Afro beat with his personality. The sensational act on several interviews and events has celebrated and advertised the African culture to the world.

Recently, on winning the BET Best International Act Awards, Burna Boys mum passed a great message to all music lovers around the world when she logically reminded the world that Africa is the father of music and invites them all to come back home to afro beat.

Burna Boy’s beats and lyrics has Africa imbedded in them. Apart from his views in his songs, the musical instruments he adopts and the way he embeds his vocals, his very easily comprehensive lyrics make him the perfect fit for Fela’s musical throne.DavidoHe ensures afrobeat is the foundation of his sounds and his lyrics tells the African story. After single handedly performing “Jara e” in Beyonce and Disney’s Lion King: The Gift Album, a song with 100% afro beat and a vocal depicting Africa and her rich culture, Burna Boy is the Fela of this generation.

With a close attention to “African Giant” his 4th studio album, all songs in the album are clear afro beat songs. The song pattern is attractive, addictive, an attention seeker and the lyrics are emotional, educational and storytelling making it a true afro beat vibe.

The “African Giant” album is an evergreen project capturing all works of life, and telling the story of the rich, the poor and the wicked revealing the diversity and flexibility of afro beat.

The African Giant supported by five singles: “Gbona“, “On the Low“, Killin Dem“, “Dangote” and “Anybody” is a studio album of 19 songs which debuted No. 16 on UK album charts , No. 13 on billboard and No. 12 on Dutch Album charts.

African Giant album, according to report, has topped the chart in countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Niger, Swaziland, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Gambia, Dominica and more.

He’s the most favourite to win the HEADIES AWARD “Artiste of the Year” 2019 and not Wizkid or Davido

Burna Boy, I repeat, is not just the Fela of this generation; He is today, the biggest artist in and out of Africa.

Everything in sound from the otherside is about woman, or girl, same vibes nice line ups tho but same pattern repetition of words, but you see African Giant Album of records, each song comes with it’s own purpose and vibe, some came to teach, some came to talk about girls, some came to show you diversity in the way we are unique and one in difference with damien Marley, the reason he broke the charts and got this Grammy nomination is because he delivered his own view of Africa He came Bold, Proud, Firm and he’s has contents, talents, vision, and hardwork, no reputation of sounds or vibes he’s genius, however I do not agree with comparing this people they are three unique and different people who is having thier own shine, let them rain in peace

Talking about lyrics, were u not in this world when wizkid dropped sound from the other side album? Album that consists of good vibes and better lyrics but because it’s wizkid y’all pretend it’s nothing, u even had to degrade the album calling it foreign sounds, complaining he isn’t doing music for African again.. Body go tell y’all soon

While u were busy blindly and hyprocritely praising burna and listing his achievements, did u forgot to mention the other two or u weren’t paid to mention theirs. If fela wasn’t a singer I wonder what Burna boy would have to sing.. Yeah burna boy is good [am a fan too] but it’s really not making any sense naming him best African artist ahead of Wizkid [I don’t know of David] despite what he had achieved, u talked about burna winning bet award, did u forget that Wiz and David has that award already? 2 of it each if am not mistaken.. As a matter of fact Wiz wasn’t nominated in any of the award categories because he blasted them about giving African awards back stage [where was your African giant then? ], so him winning the award isn’t a big deal after all those in the categories are all Africans, what about the mobo award wizkid won including the likes of Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled, Jay Z, migos and so on in the same category? Your hypocrisy won’t allow you to mention that.. The trio are doing great but Wiz will always be ahead of them.. Watch out next year GRAMMY, Bey has submitted brown skin girl in the best pop category!
