UK Afrobeats Chart
The first ever official music chart of the United Kingdom for Afrobeats will begin few days from today.
The chart which will feature a weekly countdown of the top 20 songs in the Afrobeats genre will commence on the 26th of July 2020.
The chart will be produced with the use of UK sales and streaming data gotten from almost 10,000 outlets.
This development simultaneously comes as the Official Charts Company announced the top 20 Afrobeats act of the last 12 months, with British rapper, J Hus topping the list and our own Burna Boy coming in second place with his single, Ye.
Other artist from Nigeria who made the list were Rema, Wizkid, Davido, Tekno, Mr Eazi & Naira Marley.
