Nigerian music star, Davido, has blasted Nollywood actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot, for supporting the social media bill as a means to silent Nigerians from expressing their disappointment in the Nigerian government.
A few days ago, there was a report that Desmond Elliot was in support of the social media bill hearing raised in the Lagos State House of Assembly. The honourable member of the house representing Surulere constituency, debunked the claim in a video he posted.
In the mid hours of today, a video evidence was released where the actor is seen condemning the actions of Nigerians who engage on social media claiming they are ruining the country.

While reacting to the video, Nigerian singer, Davido, took to twitter to express his disappointment in the actor whom many see as a role model in the entertainment industry.
The singer, in a tweet, aired his opinion while saying “Desmond Elliot just destroyed all the precious child hood memories he gave us in movies ….”
