Burna Boy and Wizkid are Nominees for 2021 BET Award’s Best International Act

The African giant, Burna Boy and the acclaimed African artist of the decade Wizkid, are the two Nigerian nominees at the prestigious BET Awards this year.

The award will acknowledge the performance of outstanding artists last year. In the Best International Act category, the only African contender to the two Nigerian titans is Daimond Platnumz of Tanzania. Most bets are on Burna Boy, as he just clinched a Grammy earlier this with his record breaking album, Twice as Tall. Here are the full list of nominees under the category that interests Nigerians and Africans the most.

It seems this year the Best New International Act category was not included. That would given our own Omah Lay the desired spotlight he deserves.
