Billboard Confirms “Made in Lagos” By Wizkid Has Been Submitted For Grammys (Read Details)
Billboard has confirmed that the “Made in Lagos” album by Wizkid has been submitted for 2022 Grammys for “Best Global Album” category.
The Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has been enjoying a good run following the success of his fourth studio album ‘Made in Lagos’. He recently toured the states and is getting ready to storm London and Canada in weeks to come.
Having released the song of summer, “Essence” with a remix featuring Justin Bieber, Wizkid is vying for the Best Global Album category at the 2022 Grammys as his team has submitted his album for nomination, Billboard confirms.
Recall that his Nigerian brother, Burna Boy claimed the prestigious award last year. Wizkid could just be joining him to achieve this fit.
