“I Have Been A Prisoner in My Marriage” – Korra Obidi’s Husband Cries Out
Dr Justin Dean, the estranged husband of American-based Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, has opened up on his failed marriage to Korra Obidi.
The couple recently welcomes their second child, Athena Dean, in the US.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Dean mentions narcissism, cheating, and lack of accountability as reasons for his separation from Korra.
He also speaks about how he had been trying to save their marriage since 2018.
“I’M TIRED OF THE NARCISSISM, CHEATING AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY. I’VE BEEN TRYING SINCE 2018 TO SAVE OUR MARRIAGE AND IF I DON’T DO EXACTLY WHAT SHE SAYS SHE DIVORCES ME. I’VE BEEN A PRISONER THAT HAS HIS FAMILY USED AGAINST HIM IF SHE DOESN’T GET EXACTLY WHAT SHE WANTS.“
Dr. Justin Dean and Korra Obidi got married in Nigeria on December 2nd, 2017. The couple welcomed their first child, June Dean, in 2019.
They welcomed their second child, Athena Dean, in 2022.
In a previous Instagram post where Dean first announced their divorce, he wrote: “Korra Obidi and I are getting a divorce. It’s over! I won’t be treated this way longer. I did my absolute best to make it work.”
Explaining further, he continued: “I didn’t want this. I did my best. My heartbroken (sic). I supported her. I loved her. I don’t deserve the way I was treated.”
Reacting to Dean’s post, Korra, simply wrote: “It is what it is,” confirming the divorce.
