Burna Boy Allegedly Fled To Spain After Police Escort Shot Two At Club Cubana
Nigerian award-winning singer Burna Boy allegedly fled to Spain after his police escort shot two persons.
The shooting incident reportedly occurred at Club Cubana on Victoria Island, Lagos, on Wednesday, Sunday Punch reports.
It was learnt that Burna Boy escort shot two persons after the singer made a pass at a woman in the club. The woman’s husband and his friends were present there as well. They reportedly got infuriated by the singer’s act and confronted him.
One of the policemen with the singer then brought out his service pistol and shot ceaselessly. In the process, he shot one Lawrence, 27, in the thigh. And Lawrence’s friend, Tolu, in the head.
Eyewitnesses said that Burna Boy was laughing amidst the incident and he left the club hurriedly after the incident.
Fresh reports say that Burna Boy took the next flight to Spain, leaving his police escorts behind and only informing them that he had travelled over a video call.
His police escorts have reportedly been arrested and are currently at the Command headquarters in Lagos.
