Tems Wins 2022 BET Award For Best International Act
Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Tems has won the 2022 BET Award for Best International Act.
The 2022 BET Awards celebration took place on the night of Sunday (June 27) in Los Angeles, US.
At the award Nigerian female musician Tems won big as she beat other nominees from different countries to win the Best International Act award.
The award was Tems‘ first international award, and she was on the BET’s stage to receive it.
Tems drove to limelight in 2020 after she was featured on Grammy nominated song ‘Essence’ owned by Nigerian singer Wizkid, which appeared on the latter’s 2020 critically acclaimed album, ‘Made In Lagos’.
In 2021 she featured on Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album; in 2022, equally, she featured on Future’s Billboard number-one song ‘Wait For You’, alongside Drake.
