Trenches Is A Real Place — Tems Says As She Shows Off Where ‘For Broken Ears’ Was Recorded

Nigerian BET award-winning singer Tems recently shows off the home studio she recorded her first EP.

On Thursday (July 7), Tems, 27, took to Twitter and posted pictures of the studio wherein she recorded her debut project titled ‘For Broken Ears’ released in 2020.

The studio that she made the EP was a home studio, according to the pictures she shared. In the pictures, also, all her musical equipment can be seen in a little-spaced room.

Tems started getting attention after ‘For Broken Ears’ was released in 2020. It was produced primarily by her.

In June 2022, she became both the first female Nigerian act to win Best International Act and one of the first two African artists—the other one was Wizkid—to win Best Collaboration at BET Awards.

Her chart-topper collaboration with Wizkid and Justin Bieber, ‘Essence’ won Best Collaboration at the 2022 BET Awards.
