‘He Is Very Quiet And Shy’ — English SuperModel, Naomi Campbell Speaks About Her Relationship With Wizkid
English supermodel, Naomi Campbell speaks about her relationship with famous Afrobeats singer Wizkid.
Naomi Elaine Campbell is an English model, actress, singer, and businesswoman. She is amongst the most recognisable and in-demand models of the past four decades.
Outside her career, Naomi Campbell is a strong supporter of the Wizkid brand.
In a Twitter space recently held to celebrate Wizkid’s Apple Music Live performance, the supermodel speaks about her relationship with the singer.
Speaking about how she and Wizkid first met, she reveals that they met in Lagos and, at that time, both of them didn’t know each other.
‘When I met him, he was performing on stage. I didn’t know him, he didn’t know me’, Naomi says.
She continues, ‘I was standing by the stage, with some kids, and he saw me and said “put them (the kids) on stage”. And after the show, we were at this place that was quite crowded, he got up and said “just take my seat”. That’s how our brother-and-sister relationship started’.
The supermodel notes that Wizkid is a ‘very quiet and shy’ person. She also praises him for being very caring and loyal.
