MUSIC: Shady Moderino – On The Run
“At least 5years and counting, Shady Moderino – a rapper, performing artist, poet and song writer who hails from Anambra State Nigeria has been in the hip-hop world, excelling at a greatly steady process. A student of Biochemistry in the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State who has learned pretty much, the ropes of music, diversifying and infusing genres of different kinds with great and sometimes sophisticated, subtle yet pragmatic lyrics drops a new jam self titled “On The Run”.
Born in the north, being exposed to musical genres such as Reggae, Hip-hop, Rap, RnB, Blues and Soul to mention but a few, had governed his orientation and style of lyricism towards it’s current position. No doubt, with guesses you could say Nas, Bob Marley, Jay Z, 2pac, Enya,Notorius BIG, Lauryn Hill or Sade, could be among legends he gave ears to in his adolescent/teenage times.
Shady has worked with top notch producers like Bukkassino, Jerrywine, Raj, Mbeats, Saucy, Dj Sam n more. Along side with artists such as Don Corleon,Sayon,Alabi,Mo Dee, SunnyJay, Babeeboi,K-dream, ShadyBlaq and an unending list. Word in the street say’s he’s onto his mixtape project.
If you ask me, from previous songs of he’s out in the clouds i’ve listened to, i’d personally say Moderino has a quite philosophic disposition to life and I think he’s a unique artist out there up for revolutionizing the industry in a major way.
