Big Brother Naija is back since it’s last edition in 2017 and it will be hosted in Nigeria for the first time since 2006 when it first aired.
Here are the major facts you need to know about the 4th Season of the reality TV show.
1. It is going to be hosted in Nigeria
Avid Big Brother Naija fans can recall that the past 2 editions were hosted in South Africa, with the third hosting stirring some questions on social media about the location.
This time, it is returning to Nigeria after 13 years since the first hosting.
2. Bet9ja is headline sponsor
The previous two seasons of Big Brother Naija had pay porte as the major sponsor. This time, Bet9ja emerges headline sponsor.
3. Auditions
For the first time, auditions for the show will be held in 8 major cities in Nigeria. They include:
Lagos, Abuja, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Warri, Ibadan, Enugu, and Benin.
The audition dates are: Friday 1 and Saturday 2, all in February, 2019.
Interested individuals must be 21 years old and above and must have valid international passports.
4. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns as host: Ebuka who was a housemate in the maiden edition makes a return to host the 4th season after hosting the past 2 seasons.
