Adekunle Gold has been accused of helping yahoo boys edit documents
Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has been accused by an Instagram user of helping internet fraudsters edit documents for their dubious dealings.
The singer made a post on Instagram about his new look and got a totally unrelated comment by a user who questioned him about his wife Simi’s recent video in which she debunked internet fraudsters and banned them from listening or buying her music.
“Dekunle hope you’ve heard what your Wife said about Yahoo boys?” the user commented.
Adekunle replied with “yessir. Any problem?”
“why don’t you let her know that there was a time you use to edit documents for Yahoo boys for their scam activities?”, the man asked.
The singer replied with “there was a time like that? how come i’m just finding out myself? wow!”
Before becoming a pop sensation, Adekunle Gold’s profession was graphic designing. This is where the Instagram user drew the inference of collaborative efforts of the singer with fraudsters.
