Teni changes her name to Teni Dangote as she sings with the billionaire
Nigerian singer Teni The Entertainer has nicknamed herself Teni Dangote after she sings with the billionaire at an event.
She took to Instagram to share a video where she was performing her hit song “Case” at an event where Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote was in attendance.
The singer can be seen standing near the seated billionaire and reciting the part of the lyrics of the song which had his name in it, but this time, changing it to “but my papa be Dangote” while giving him the mic to sing along.
Afterwards, she says “Now it can be carried on CNN that Dangote has a new daughter.”

Artistes have a way of familiarising themselves and creating relationships with big names and Teni might have just made that move or she was simply entertaining the audience.
