Was The Boy Rude For Telling Wole Soyinka To Vacate His Airplane Window Seat ?
If you are on twitter – You would have most likely come across the heated debate on the issue posted by former River State APC Governorship aspirant – Tonye Cole who was in an airplane with the renowned writer – Prof. Wole Soyinka.
Tonye Cole posted on his instagram page of his encounter with a base ball wearing young man that walked Wole Soyinka up from his window seat because Soyinka sat on his allocated seat.
Professor Wole Soyinka and the young man was assigned the same seating area but since the prof arrived before the young man – he sat on the window seat which was originally not assigned to him but when the young man arrived to his seat – He asked Wole Soyinka to allow him seat on his allocated seat. According to Tonye Cole – the boy was begged to allow Soyinka sit on the window seat but the boy refused and insisted that Soyinka leaves his seat.
Tonye Cole stated that the boy was very disrespectful for not giving up his seat for an elder and writer
