#ZlatanIsAScam Trends on Twitter After Keeping Fans Awake Alright For A Giveaway
Since give away has become the new method to gain trends on social media these days as can been seen in the cases of Don Jazzy, Davido, and most recently Tekno for the launching of his new video Agege. Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael popularly known by his stage name Zlatan Ibile kept his fans and followers on twitter on a vigil last night with what seems to be a scam giveaway.

The Zanku crooner through his twitter handle “@Zlatan_ibile” promises to give out 250k to 4 people who uses the hashtag “Shotan” in his mention at about of 12:30am 11th August 2019.
Followers then pour online, using the hashtag and waiting for the tweets of alerts testimonies. Only for the time to pass and the music maestro gave an excuse that his First Bank App is not working. To control the damage, some influencers backed up his claim, before it was debunk by some users as false.
Zlanta also tried to turn to humour as a means of cooling the tension by tweeting some Bible passages as though he was preaching, that also failed.

Another antics was deployed as some influencers came online and claim to have received the money, that the give away is true. But his followers will not have that as they call for evidence.
With their name at stake. The influencers then opened-up that their tweet is done with fate on expectation of the alerts.
When all avenue to savage the situation was gone, the artist then went on instagram to mock those on vigil just for free money.

As the time of writing this, ZlatanIsAScam is the number one trend on the Nigerian twitter.
This actually confirms that most of these celebrities giveaways are just meant to exploit the poor and use them to catch fun. While also gaining clout and trending on social media.
To redeem his image it now seems zlatan is now really giving out some cash to followers at this hour.

but how are followers sure, the giveaway is actually real or just another trick by him to savage his damaged reputation in a highly competitive industry.
