Fact Check: Tiwa Savage VS Yemi Alade who is winning?
On the verge to determine the dominating female musician in Nigeria, fans of Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade has been involved in series of baseless conflicts. Tiwa Savage VS Yemi Alade who is winning in the game.
Tiwa Savage departed Mavin records in 2019 to join subsidiaries of Universal records (Capital records and Island records). Tiwa Savage with two studio albums (Once Upon a Time, 2013 and R.E.D, 2015) has won several awards in and out of Nigeria including the prestigious Headies Award for the best collabo catrgory in 2018.
Despite not winning The Headies Artiste of the Year Award just like Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage has bagged 3 nominations (2014, 2016, 2018) for the award ahead of Yemi Aade with 2 nominations (2015, 2016).
Tiwa Savage is the first female artiste to be nominated for BET Award for Best International Act: Africa.
Yemi Alade is 9 years younger than Tiwa Savage. She is signed to Universal Music Africa, Effyzzie Music Group and Rebel Movement. Yemi Alade has 4 studio albums (King of Queens 2014, Mama Africa 2016, Black Magic 2017 and the recently released Woman of Steel 2019).
She has won several awards including two Headies Awards (Hip Pop World Revelation of the year 2015 and best performer 2018). She also bagged two MTV African Music Awards for Best Female category consecutively in 2015 and 2016.
Yemi Alade is the only female artiste in Nigeria with two BET Award for Best International Act: Africa nomination.

Oh God you people are there listening to music you won’t learn and acquire sense. Those that said that tiwa savage is better than yemi alade you people are insane. Yemi is called mama Africa and you are comparing her to that insolence and stupid thing called tiwa savage. You people should have sense. Yemi is exceptionally talented is she not a judge and coach in VON but is tiwa a judge or coach. Yemi I hail you we all love you more progress in your career. Even waje is far better than tiwa savage. Can you compare beyonce to Rihanna it is not possible even though Rihanna is the richest queen beyonce is far way way way way better than Rihanna. You should be comparing Yemi alade and niniola not with Tiwa the difference is like Nigeria and USA how would you compare Nigeria and USA. Tiwa was a back up singer to brandy before.
