Akon X Olamide – “Scammers” Review – A Failed Attempt To Remake (Wo!)

American singer Akon recent released his Afrobeat inspired album “Akonda” and off the album comes Scammers review featuring YBNL boss Olamide

After seeing the lineup I was already disappointed before playing the song. The song has similar production qualities to Olamide’s 2017 hit ‘Wo !‘.

There was no point trying to revive a perishable song. We know Olamide for such kinda ephemeral joints. We don’t know if it was intended to be a remake or a remix.

It seems like the last straw that has broken the camels back of any glimmer of hope left for Olamide to achieve international success and recognition as all previous attempts has been futile.

Akon on the other hand ended up embarrassing himself and his legendary status as his vocal doesn’t match this kinda genre and he did an awful job trying to sound like Olamide.

The 2:10 minutes song has no content, no vibes, wrong beat selection, the only thing interesting about the song is the producer Pheelz signature “ ridi ma ku la yor”. I don’t know if that’s accurate.. Lol.
