2019 has been a cold year for Wizkid. The singer spent over six months without dropping a single but was only involved in collaborations.

He returned in September with two hot singles; ‘Ghetto Love’ and ‘Joro’. Starboy now ends his 2019 with an amazing 7-track project dubbed ‘Soundman Vol 1.’

While on break, Wizkid teamed up with several artistes in dishing out magnificent numbers for his fans. Amidst his popular feature on Beyonce’s “Lion King :The Gift album”, are Wizkid collaborations from Nigerian, UK and American artistes.

Here are Top 7 Best Wizkid Collaborations in 2019 (in no order)

1. Krept & Konan – “G Love” ft. WizKid

UK rap duo Krept & Konan teamed up with Nigerian Afro-pop star WizKid for a british-Nigerian collaboration titled “G Love”. The afrofusion track blends the worlds of the duo’s unique style and Wizkid’s alluring vocals over a groovy tune produced by P2J.

The music video is helmed by director KLVOR and shot in London with all three artists doing their thing.

2. Kojo Funds x Wizkid – “I Like”

UK-Ghanaian singer, Kojo Funds and Starboy Wizkid dishes outs a dance hall – summer jam track titled ” I Like”. The song which was produced by Rymez and G.A and released on the 9th of August 2019.

Directed by Dir. Lx, its music video amassed over 3.5 million YouTube views in three weeks after its release. The video shows different women of color showing off their hot bodies and the two stars just playing around.

3. Olamide x Wizkid x ID Cabasa – “Totori”

Nigerian producer and CEO of Coded Tunes Records, ID Cabasa came back with a brand new single named “Totori” featuring Wizkid and Olamide. Wizkid held the hook while Olamide delivers a unique flow on verses.

Directed by TG Omori, the music video shows Wizkid and Olamide performing the song surrounded by a raving crowd.

4. Beyonce x Wizkid x Sainy JHN x Blue Ivy– “Brown Skin Girl”

Off her Lion King – The Gift album, Beyonce collaborated with African pop star Wizkid, daughter Blue Ivy and Saint JHN on ‘Brown Skin Girl’. The vibe renders praises on the brown skin colour, encouraging ladies to be proud of your colour.

The song went on to win the BET soul train awards.

5. GoldLink x Wizkid – “No Lie”

D’Anthony Carlos the American rapper better known by his stage name GoldLink dropped a Grammy Nominated single off his album titled “Diaspora“.

The album consists of 14 tracks with a guest appearance from Wizkid, Tyler, Maleek Berry, Khalid, Pusha T among others. Off the ‘Diaspora‘ album is this smashing track titled “No Lie” featuring Nigeria’s Starboy, Wizkid.

6. DJ Tunez x Wizkid x Blaq Jerzee – “Gbese”

Wizkid’s official disc jockey, DJ Tunez returns with a compelling record titled “Gbese.” This time, DJ Tunez links up with Star Boy himself, Wizkid and foremost record producer, Blaq Jerzee to deliver a new banging record.

7.Wizkid “Low” x Larry Gaaga (Prod. By Blaq Jerzee)

Larry Gaaga dropped his long-awaited single with Wizkid tagged “Low“. This record was on highly anticipated since the day Starboy Wizkid shared the snippet on his Insta Live.

Due to popular demand, Larry Gaaga the Music influencer premiered the smashing record that has got everyone salivating for the Starboy combo. Wizkid definitely got the vibes and melody flowing inside of him, “Low” production credit goes to Blaq Jerzee.
