What Is Happening To Artistes Signed Under StarBoy Entertainment?

Every label especially a top one such as StarBoy Entertainment is supposed to be a sort of Haven for Young Artistes who are seeking for a musical breakthrough because of the acceptability of the Owner (Wizkid) but we can’t say same for this label.

So many young artistes have been signed up to the Label and haven’t exactly gotten any sort of breakthrough and It’s quite obvious that something is wrong. The label was started by Wizkid himself in 2013 and since then the label has been able to produce decent names like Ghanian singer Efya and L.A.X who to be fair were already established names.

In addition, He only favours stars like R2Bees and Mr Eazi and few UK based acts who are already blown to affiliate with his label for his own selfish gains.

But since then the attention has been solely on Wizkid alone which is an Aberration. Aside the singles ‘Soco’ and ‘Commando‘ all released along with his label artistes in 2018, there is really no effort from him to expose his Acts to compete in the Music Industry.

We have seen the likes of Spotless, Terri and even the teenager Ahmed all signed to the label and none Has a hit or any sort of musical presence compared to the likes of DMW, Mavin and even YBNL.

Could this be that the management isn’t doing enough to help this young artiste or you could say the artiste themselves ain’t doing enough on their part. But one thing for sure is that Wizkid is not bothered about his proteges and he is clearly an Avarice. His label is not friendly to up and comings

However, Wizkid himself was discovered by Banky W who gave a lot of exposure to him (Wizkid) and Skales and gave enough push and support, but unfortunately today isn’t doing same for his lads.
