REVIEW: Judah (The EP) – M I Abaga Never Stopped Being Incredible, We Only Stopped Paying Attention
African Number one Rapper M.I Abaga comes through with another quality masterpiece to his Catalogue of lyrical Masterpiece and this 8 tracks provides exactly what we always expect of him to deliver. He never deviated from the norm.
The rapper who recently left the Music Label Chocolate City after 13 years of loyalty and this EP is his final body of work to cap off the end of a glorious era.
He delivered on themes of Betrayal, Loyalty, Love, Regret, Supremacy with tracks like The Lion, The Commandment, The Trinity, The Sacrifice, The Tribe, The Blood, The Parable.
He followed every track to suit the subject matter of the Biblical reverences from the Parables to commandments to The Trinity, to Lion, To sacrifice, and Tribe (Of Judah) every track reprented a biblical symbolism. He has Effective story telling abilities backed up with word play and punchlines.
The only single off the EP is ‘Warrior’ that features Celione Dion’s Vocal Doppelganger and relatively unknown singer Kauna that dropped in late 2019.
A perfect Body of Art by every ramification if you ask me.
