The Governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde has confirmed in an official statement on his twitter handle that a patient has been confirmed positive in Bodija area of Ibadan. The Covid-19 Confirmation test for the suspected case has come back positive.
Earlier it was announced that one of the victims of the virus spent two weeks in Ibadan before found positive in Ekiti. He however pointed that a collaborative effort between the Public Health Officials and University Teaching Hospital on the case to avoid further cases of the virus.
This is time for those in Ibadan to take Precautionary measures as it has now been officially verified by the state Governor.
