A recent tweet suggests that Rapper Falz fits the Fela description better than the self acclaimed African Giant himself Burna boy.
A recent tweet suggests that Rapper Falz fits the Fela description better than the self acclaimed African Giant himself Burna boy.This has off course sparked some sort of debate.
Both artistes are different in Style, if you take a look at Falz, he has a comical style of rap which offcourse has the elements of Afrofusion but when it comes to the subject matter of his contents, it is fully influenced by Activism.
His themes are majorly themes of Bad governance, condemnation of societal ills such as fake men of God, raping, Internet Fraud which to be very honest are some or similar themes in the legendary Fela’s talking points.
Burna boy on the other hand is Influenced by Fela in the Rhythmic aspect of it, as well as his lifestyle but not exactly more of the similarities in the message he carried.
This means the twitter user could be having this line of thought.
