Five Albums From Nigerian Artists To Expect In August 2020

2020 have seen a sizable numbers of albums and EPs from various Nigerian Artists but we agree it could have been more than that.

For about 3 – 4 months, almost all sectors of the world were placed on standby. All thanks to the Coronavirus.

The entertainment industry was not left out as many albums were delayed for this particular reason or based on artist’s discretion.

But in the last one month, a lot have been returning to its formal state. Not fully, but there is improvements.

On that note, there are several albums we would be anticipating. In no serial order, they are:

1. Wizkid – Made in Lagos

Wizkid – Made in Lagos

Wizkid FC have been anticipating for this one for quite some time. We already have a single, ‘Smile’ and with Wizkid thinking of dropping another one of Friday, we can only expect the album to be out in August.

2. Burna Boy – Twice as Tall

Burna Boy – Twice as Tall

Although we do not have much info on this album, we expect that Burna Boy doesn’t delay with it.

3. Davido – A Better Time

Davido – A Better Time

He’s been working tirelessly for it. He recently did a video shoot in USA with Lil Baby. This goes to prove that the album is on its way. He already promised July but we now see it it will no longer be possible as July has seen its end.

4. Patoranking – Three

Patoranking – Three

Patoranking has confirmed the release of this album so this is not just a prediction. The artist has announced that his album, ‘Three’ will be dropping on August 28th. He also dropped a single, Abule, in anticipation for it.

5. Tiwa Savage – Celia

The Nigerian Bad girl is not slowing down either. The mother of one is set to drop her next album ‘Celia’ and we think it will be ready in august.
