Starboy Entertainment boss, Wizkid finally drops a new single tagged “No Stress” ahead of the release of his forthcoming album.
The afrobeat and afro-fusion singer and songwriter pens down some scary lyrics in this sexual tune. “No Stress” as produced by P2J stands out as an electrifying Wizkid vibe that further clears path to his “Made in Lagos” album.
Here is a candid review from some of us at Novice2STAR.
“Am I the only one that seems to enjoy ” No Stress” the more it plays… It’s like it opens a new horizon when you put it on repeat. The feeling I get on first listening is totally different from what I got listening for the second time.
“I think a Wizkid went hard on this one. He kept the lyrics on check, giving the fans something groovy, naught and yet keeping the lyrics as top notch as the fans have always longed for. It’s an exceptional sound. Personally I’ll give it 4.5/5 rating. ”
” So Wizkid drops a new song and he starts trending, plus good stream numbers. But what do you expect from an artiste that has spent over 10 years in the industry with several hits songs to his name ?. Well, that’s the story of Wizkid. But does that really mean his contents are always good ? – the answer is NO.
“Over the past 3 years, Wizkid has slowly declined in his artistic creativity, he has become too relaxed and complacent that he goes into the studio and drops a freestyle for his FC and calls it a song.
“Truth be said, “No Stress” is a very lazy song with no creativity nor punchlines. He has continues used the same words, “baby eh, my mama say, E dey do me, oh my baby, sexy body” sexy girl. Girl girl girl. – But who am I to judge.. Wizkid FC will sure say its the best song of the year.
“But just like Tiwa Savage’s overhyped album, If the singles that Wizkid has given us in the past 2 years are the best he has, then Made in Lagos will be another “Celia” – Washed away in a week or less. Nevertheless I’ll generously rate it 2.5/5.”
