Peter Okoye, Mr P, Postpones The Release Date For His Album. Now Slated To Be Released In January 2021
Nigerian R&B singer, Mr P, and former member of the defunct music group, P Square, has announced a new release date for his upcoming album.
The singer & dancer who parted ways with his twin brother in 2017 has released a couple of singles, EPs and albums since their separation. He gears up to release his next album which he titles “The Prodigal”.
The “One More Night” singer had earlier slated the album release somewhere around the middle of 2020 but cancelled it after hinting that him and his family had contracted COVID-19.
In June, after he recovered from the virus, he announced that he will be releasing the album on the 20th of November. With just two days away from proposed release date, the singer has announced that the album will now be released in January 2021 with no stipulated date of said month.
He said this in a post while letting fans and followers know that the album is the only thing on his mind. He captioned the post “❤️? Only one thing on my mind! THE PRODIGAL ALBUM January 2021. #MotherOfAllAlbums”.
What do you really think could be the reason for the delay of this album?
