“YOU DEY MAD” – Reekado Banks To Beef Wizkid In New Song
Bank Music boss, Reekado Banks is finally ready to address Wizkid comments with a new song tagged “YOU DEY MAD”.
On October 15, 2020, Wizkid called Reekado Banks a fool for trying to release a song they did together using the #ENDSARS hashtags.
The situation raised a heated argument as fans took sides in judging who was wrong between the two acts. While many claim Reeky went off hook trying to release “Omo Olomo” with the said hashtag, others Wizkid should have cautioned privately rather than publicly.
Though Wizkid later deleted the tweet, the two artistes went on to unfollow each other on Instagram.
Today, Reekado Banks announced he will be dropping a new song titled “YOU DEY MAD” on November 20th just before releasing his “Off The Record” EP on November 27th.
He said,
“I think ‘You Dey Mad’ is a timely song because it can serve as a response to external pressure and unsolicited opinions. We are dealing with a lot already, anyone that wants to add to our problems can literally shut up right? They are mad haha. YOU DEY MAD will drop next week Friday, November 20 and the EP will drop a week later, November 27. I hope you’ll love it.”
