“Burna Boy Took Afrobeat Further Than Wizkid” – Twitter User Claims

Here is another one from a Twitter User who claims Burna Boy has contributed more to the growth of Afrobeat than Wizkid.

The two friends linked up in Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos’ album months ago on a song called ‘Ginger’. There are also rumours that they’ve been working on a new single titled ‘Ballon d’Or’.

Days after Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ peaked at number 68 on Billboard Hot 100 charts making it the third week on the chart, a music fan on Twitter claims Grammys Best Global Album winner, Burna Boy has done more fro Afrobeat than Wizkid .

“Burna boy took Afro beat further than Wizkid by a mile but we don’t like saying it.“
