Davido Donates 250 Million Naira Cash Gift From Friends To Orphanage Across Nigeria

3 days ago, Davido asked his colleagues and friends to send him 1 Million Naira each. He ended up getting a total cash gift of 200 Million Naira [Wow!!!] but guess what? – The superstar singer is giving away the whole 200 Million, plus his personal funds of 50 Million making it a total of 250,000,000.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Million Naira) to orphanges across Nigeria.

On the 17th of November – Davido said, “We rise by lifting others abi? Me I don dey rise dey lifting others for the past 10 years. So I want to know who my friends are. All of my friends one one million Naira. They said we are 30BG. If you don’t send your own. You out of here. You are gone (sic).”

Just that single tweet, saw friends, colleuegues and fans sending money to his Wema bank account, at the end of that day, Davido recieved over 100 Million Naira and subsequently, he has made over 200 million in the course of 2-3 days.

As with everything Davido does, he received massive critisicm from haters who think she shouldn’t ask for money from fans. Well, Davido has just put all that to bed as he annouced via his Intagram page that he will be giving away all the funds to Orphanage across Nigeria.
