Checkout Nigerian Artistes That Have Shut Down The O2 Arena
The O2 arena main bowl is a very famous place to hold musical concert, with a 20, 000 capacity, surely, only heavyweights Nigerian artistes like Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy could have the arena full to the brim. This article will talk about Nigerian artistes who have successfully sell out the arena.
1 . Davido:
Ahead of his upcoming concert tonight, it should be noted that this is not the first time David Adeleke has shut down the O2 arena, the Afropop heavyweight first did that in 2019. The video above is a testimony. Davido and his crew (The Compozers) shut down O2 arena in 2019 and he is about to do it again tonight.
2. Wizkid
Unarguably, the biggest Nigerian artiste to have shut down the 02 arena, Wizkid did a concert for 3 consecutive days and the 3 days, all tickets was sold out. Talking about shutting down the 20, 000 capacity main bowl, Big Wiz is perhaps the king.
3. Burna Boy
Though shrouded with controversies, however, there are reports that Burna Boy also sold out the 02 arena on August 2019. The African Giant as he is fondly called made everyone to be amazed when he brought out Rema in the concert.
Several Nigerian artistes have performed at the O2, but it is only these that have shut down the main bowl of 20,000 capacity.
