Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has said he would leave Nollywood if actresses can prove they bought their multi-million naira mansions with their own money.
Best known for his provocative statements on social media, Uche Maduagwu, a Nigerian actor, expresses his opinion on his female colleagues buying multi-million naira mansions in areas like Ikoyi, Lagos State.
In an Instagram post, the actor writes that female actors who buy expensive houses have wealthy Nigerian men to thank.
The actor seems so sure of his claim that he promises to leave the Nollywood industry if proven wrong.
“700 million Naira House for Ikoyi Na big Lie I go Comot for this industry If Dem talk say na Dem buy am God bless our wealthy Naija men They have been donating Luxury Mansion To our actress since 1901 U are more spiritual than physical if u understand this post (sic).”
