Asake team up with the enigmatic African Giant for the remix of the song off his EP, and as expected Burna Boy make a statement on the song. He maintained the theme of the hit song while delivering with his lines with his deep baritone voice.

Joeboy’s Cubana is straightforward, the kind of song that will easily stick. The song has over one minute of monotone. A short verse with monotonous hook repeated twice. The rest is the instrumentals giving the necessary vibes.
