Wizkid Tops The List Of Most Streamed African Artistes On Spotify For A 5th Consecutive Year
Nigerian Grammy-Award winner Wizkid has ranked the most streamed artiste in Africa for a 5th consecutive year.
According to ChartsAfrica, Wizkid has total streams of 4.40 billion on Spotify. This is the highest number of streams by an African artiste on Spotify, according to findings.
In addition, Wizkid has topped the list five times since 2016.
Cosely following Wizkid on the list is another Nigerian artiste who’s also a Grammy award winner, Burna Boy.
According to the chart, Burna Boy has 2.78 billion streams on Spotify–he’s the second African and Nigerian artiste with the highest number of streams on the list.
Other Nigerian artists on the list are Mr Eazi, Ckay, Davido, Maleek Berry, Tems, Rema, Fireboy, and Tiwa Savage.
