Grammy 2022: Simi Scolds Nigerians Mocking Wizkid Over Grammy Awards
Nigerian songstress Simi, on Twitter, scolded Nigerians who made mockery of Wizkid because he lost his two nominations at the 64th Grammy Award.
Yesterday April 3rd, The 64th Grammy Award show was held in Las Vegas, US.
Some Nigerian viewers of the show were impatiently anticipating the host to announce Wizkid winner of the Best Global Music Album or Best Global Music Performance category or both.
Unluckily, Wizkid lost both nominations. He lost the Best Global Music Album award to Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo and the Best Global Music Performance award to Arooj Aftab.
Whereas some Nigerians, particularly Wizkid’s fans who identify themselves as Wizkid FC, expressed their grievance over his loss on Twitter and other social media platforms, some Nigerians, most of whom are fans of Davido, mocked him.
Probably displeased with them, Simi expressed her displeasure by using her Twitter handle to scold them.

In another tweet also, Simi said she wanted Wizkid to win when a Twitter user told Simi that Wizkid didn’t care about the Grammys.
