Intellectual Theft: Veteran Singer Blackface Accuses Wizkid, Banky W Of Sampling His Songs
Veteran singer Blackface Naija, today, accused Wizkid and Banky W of intellectual theft.
He took to his Twitter handle to call out Wizkid and Banky W, who used to be Wizkid’s label’s chairman, for sampling his song ‘I like the way’.
His statement read, ‘2 of Una know say we get unfinished business for jacking my song “I like the way” Make una call me’.
In yet another statement made on his IG page, he accused them of taking another song ‘Twist and Turn’ from his album ‘Rising Sun’ and sampling it on ‘Ginger’.
He added that producer Samklef was to blame for reproducing his sound for them. Finally, he said they should call him.
