Rave & Roses: Rema Boasts More Streams Than Wizkid’s Made In Lagos Did In One Month
Mavin Records’ poster boy, Rema reaches a new milestone with his album ‘Rave & Roses’ surpassing Wizkid’s Made In Lagos.
The 16-track album, which was released on March 25, turned one-month old yesterday, April 25.
According to charts, ‘Rave & Roses’, has accumulated the total streams of 261.30 million since its release.
The streams gathered across 5 music streaming platforms, namely Apple Music, Spotify, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube.
Furthermore, netizens were quick to notice that the album had surpassed what Wizkid‘s ‘Made In Lagos’ accumulated in its first month of release.
As shown below, ‘Made In Lagos’ had 181.34 million in its first month.
Made In Lagos was 79.96 million streams fewer than Rave & Roses.
It should be noted, regardless, that ‘Made In Lagos’ currently has over 1.4 billion streams.
What’s more, it is the highest charting African album of all time on Billboard World Music Chart, having been charting there for more than 73 weeks.
