Mavin Records’ artist Rema has hit four hundred million streams on Spotify.
A Twitter handle, known simply as REMA STATS on Twitter, that posts about Rema’s streaming records made the new milestone hit by the singer known in a Twitter post on Saturday (May 7).
It said Rema joined the list of few African acts to have recorded four hundred million streams on the popular music platform.
The tweet read, ‘@heisrema joins the host of few African artistes to record a mind blowing, breathe taking, and tremendous milestone of Four Hundred Million [400M] Spotify Streams’.
Rema, born Divine Ikubor, is currently one of the most streamed African artists, behind artists such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Davido and Ckay, on Spotify, where he also has six million monthly listeners.
