BBMAs 2022: Wizkid’s Essence Loses Billboard Music Award
‘Essence remix’ by Wizkid, Tems, and Justin Bieber has lost award for Top R&B song at the 2022 BBMAs.
‘Essence remix’ which was nominated for Top R&B song lost to ‘Leave The Door Open’ by Silksonic (BrunoMars and Anderson Paak).
This was first reported on the official Twitter handle of the BBMAs. ChartsAfrica also reported it.
American singer Bruno Mars, one of the Silksonic duo, asides from winning Top R&B song award, he won Top R&B tour.
Wizkid is a 3-time winner of the BBMAs, with 8 nominations.
