Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has issued a stern warning to the organisers of Headies award ahead of award ceremony.
Headies, the biggest Nigerian music entertainment award, earlier today annouced nominees for its 15th edition award ceremony taking place July 2nd, Novice2star had reported.
Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, who became a music sensation in Nigeria last year’s December when his song Zazuu (featuring Olamide) went viral, grabbed no fewer than two nominations.
He is contesting the Rookie of the Year and Best Street-hop Artist’s awards.
He has, however, reacted to the nominations.
About an hour ago, he took to his Twitter handle and said what he would do should he end up not winning ‘any Headies award’.
He said, ‘If I no win any headies award, this country no go contain us’.
Is it really okay for Portable to say such a thing?
