Reekado Banks Reveals He Is Quitting Music To Become Chef

Former Mavin signee Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known by his stage name Reekado Banks, announces his plan to switch career.

He made the announcement Wednesday via his verified Twitter page.

Reekado, who didn’t give any reason why he would leave music for a career in cooking, said he would be quitting music at the age of 38, and would become a chef after.

Presently at 28 years of old, he has ten years in his career as a musician before he switches up.

Reekado Banks became famous after signing with Don Jazzy-led Mavin Records in 2014. He was with the label for four years until 2018 when he left to establish his own record label called Banks Music.
