Chairman of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, finally revealed the reason behind Rema not featuring on the label’s recent song Overloading.

Mavin recently released ‘Overloading’ featuring almost all of the new acts on the label except its poster boy and biggest act, Rema.

Many fans were disappointed by his absence on the song, although Rema is acknowledged in the music video with a scene showing a car plate number customized to his name.

Don Jazzy was a guest on a radio lately, along with ‘Overloading’ singers Crayon, Magixx, and Boy Spyce, and he talked about the creation of the song, which has gone number one on Nigeria Apple Music, and why Rema didn’t feature on it.

According to his words, Rema was not put on it in order to give the spotlight to other artists on the label.

He said the decision particularly let people see Crayon‘s talent, whose verse and chorus on the song have received a lot of applause from fans and celebrities.

He also mentioned that a Mavin album that will be released this year is in the work and that Rema is going to be on it.
