Wizkid Teases More Love, Less Ego, Drops Collaborators’ Names, Release Date

Nigerian award-winning singer Wizkid teases More Love, Less Ego, his upcoming 5th studio album, as he mentioned a release date and his collaborators.

Wizkid, 31, had previously announced on Instagram in 2021 that he would drop his next album on the last day of Made In Lagos’ tour, which got pushed back through Covid-19 pandemic in Canada, where the tour was supposed to end in January 2022.

After months of recording the upcoming album in Lagos and abroad, the Essence hit maker on Wednesday (June 1) gave a shout-out to 6 artistes who are believed to be collaborators on More Love, Less Ego via his IG stories.

Besides giving a shout-out to those artistes, and using the hashtag MLLE in the post, Wizkid teases More Love, Less Ego release date: 5/8, which means the 5th day of August. This date could mean the day he releases the album.

He wrote: ‘Big up Naira/Skep/ayra/TY/Flame/Buj!! See you 5/8!! 🖤❤️🦅#MLLE🦅🦅’.

People who know Wizkid should know very well that he is a man of few words and likes the art of surprise. They also should know that when he’s gearing towards releasing a project–like he did before he released his 4th album–he appreciates his collaborators with a social media post.
