Wizkid’s ‘Essence (Remix)’ Wins Best Collaboration At BET Awards
‘Essence (remix)’ by Nigerian music star Wizkid, featuring Tems and Justin Bieber, has won Best Collaboration at the 2022 BET Awards.
‘Essence (remix)’, which featured Justin Bieber and Tems, won the ‘best collaboration’ award at the just concluded 2022 BET Awards.
Beating other chart-topping songs by DJ Khaled, Baby Keem, and Drake, ‘Essence remix’ became the first African song to win ‘best collaboration’ at BET.
At the award show, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 26), Tems, who also won best international act award, was present to receive the award on behalf of Wizkid, who was at Netherlands for a concert.
