Nigerian rapper MI Abaga is changing his stage name.
On Thursday (July 7), MI announced on his Twitter handle that he would change his stage name from MI Abaga—an acronym for Mister Incredible—to another name.
According to his tweet, he is changing his name because of his upcoming project—a new album—which he described as ‘hard’ and ‘deserving a new name’.
He noted that his final performance as MI would be at The Vibe on July 10, after which he would announce his new stage name.
