American DJ and music executive, DJ Khaled, plays Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif’s music and follows him on Instagram.
The popular DJ, on Tuesday (July 20), plays on his verified Instagram page with 29.8 million follwers a short video clip of Black Sherif jamming to his own song ‘Kwaku The Traveler’.
In the caption of the post, DJ Khaled praised Black Sherif, whose vocal range entices every music lover, with the kind words, ‘music that touch your soul’.
He also encouraged the 20-year-old singer to ‘keep going’, as well as followed him back on Instagram.
Since the post was shared Tuesday, it has gotten more than eleven thousand comments and two hundred thousand likes.
Many of the commenters wanted DJ Khaled to feature Black Sherif.
Although Khaled didn’t hint on having a song recorded with ‘Blacko’, as Black Sherif is also called, it’s rumoured that he is on Khaled’s forthcoming album, which has features with Drake and some top American artists.
