Wizkid FC Sends Carterefe’s ‘Machala’ To No. 1 On Nigerian Apple Music
Wizkid FC has sent Carterefe’s ‘Machala’ to number one on Nigeria Apple Music chart.
‘Machala’, a tribute song for Nigerian superstar Wizkid, sung and released Friday (July 29) by content creator Carterefe and Berri-Tiga made it to number one on Nigerian Apple Music chart.
Carterefe is such a huge fan of Wizkid. Before he released ‘Machala’, which is all about Wizkid’s low-key lifestyle, he regularly showed his love for Wizkid via his social media accounts.
After he released ‘Machala’, a name Wizkid is also called by his fandom, the song peaked on Nigeria Apple Music at 6 and subsequently dethroned ‘Bandana’ to claim number one.
Although Carter is not even an artist, he managed to get to the top spot with the help of Wizkid’s fans, Wizkid FC.
Known for its undying love for Wizkid, Wizkid FC has singlehandedly sent Carterefe’s ‘Machala’ to number one on Nigeria Apple Music chart.
